Michael Huber, MD

“My early experience in healthcare and military service shaped my commitment to caring for others, and I’m honored to continue that mission by helping patients live healthier lives.”
Dr. Huber earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Loyola College in Baltimore, where his early experience working part-time as a nursing assistant sparked his interest in pursuing a career in medicine. He went on to attend the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences for medical school and served 17 years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he served as director of the cardiac catheterization lab at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, where he cared for critically ill and injured soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Huber completed his internal medicine residency while stationed in Hawaii, where he met his wife, Theresa, an Army nurse. They have been married for 30 years and have a 26-year-old daughter who is an engineer. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing on Lake Hamilton.
