    • Overview of Results with a Baptist Health Cardiovascular Specialist

Baptist Health Heart Institute is offering the BHeart Healthy screening program as a community service to
encourage early detection of cardiovascular disease in our community.
Our hope and our goal is to provide our community with the tools to identify heart disease at its earliest
stages. This BHeart Healthy screening is not designed to provide treatment recommendations or establish
doctor – patient relationships. All participants in the BHeart Healthy screening program are advised that it is
their obligation to follow up all test results with their personal physicians.
If requested, Baptist Health can help direct participants to qualified physicians who are available for new
patient appointments through the Baptist Health HealthLine service. Participants who do not have current
physician relationships are encouraged to establish doctor-patient relationships and follow up on the test
results and their management. The providers affiliated with the BHeart Healthy screenings program will not
be able to provide treatment recommendations, prescriptions, or make management decisions.
