Michael Cross, MD, FACC, FACP, RPVI

Dr. Michael Cross, MD, FACC, FACP, RPVI is a board-certified Cardiologist with expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Vanderbilt University and then earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine followed by a year as Chief Resident. He then completed fellowships at UAMS in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology where he served as Chief Fellow in his last two years. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology and is certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He is board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology.

At Arkansas Cardiology / Baptist Health Heart Institute, Dr. Cross provides comprehensive cardiovascular care ranging from preventative and routine treatment to routine and emergent interventional procedural care. His clinical expertise includes invasive coronary angiography, coronary intervention, temporary percutaneous ventricular assist device support, peripheral vascular angiography and revascularization, nuclear stress imaging, and vascular imaging. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality care, Dr. Cross combines cutting-edge techniques with a patient-centered approach to help individuals achieve better heart health.
