| Dr. Collins received a
Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering in the Health Sciences
at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He
received his Doctor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services,
University of Health Services in Bethesda, Maryland. He
completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Wright-Patterson USAF
Medical Center. He completed Clinical and Interventional
Cardiology Fellowships at the Department of Medicine, Duke
University, Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Collins, a former Lt. Colonel of the United States Air Force,
served at Wright-Patterson Medical Center. While at
Wright-Patterson, he served as Chief of Cardiopulmonary Services,
Director of the Coronary Care Unit, and Director of the
Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the National
Board of Medical Examiners and a Fellow of the American College of
Physicians and the American College of Cardiology. He is board
certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and
Interventional Cardiology.
