J. Douglas Holloway, MD, FACC [return to physician listing]

- Nuclear & Clinical Cardiology
"What intrigues me most about cardiology is that the heart is a fascinating organ. Our specialty is very concrete and outcomes aren’t abstract. Through imaging we look at function and measure outcomes very quickly."
Dr. Holloway lists his relationships with patients and their families as the most rewarding aspect of practicing medicine. He earned medical and undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
His medical specialty is clinical cardiology, and he was the first fellowship-trained Nuclear Cardiologist in the state when he joined Arkansas Cardiology.
Dr. Holloway is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Arkansas Medical Society, the Pulaski County Medical Society and the American Heart Association.
