From its inception, Arkansas Cardiology has pioneered technological advances in cardiovascular care in Arkansas.  Our physicians were the first in private practice to perform coronary angioplasty.  We were the first to offer cardiac imaging in an office-based nuclear laboratory, staffed by the first nuclear cardiologist in private practice in the state of Arkansas.  We were also the first private cardiology group with an electrophysiologist providing defibrillator implantation and radio frequency ablation the first with cardiologists trained in peripheral vascular diagnostics and intervention including the placement of stent-grafts for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.  We now offer office based cardiovascular CT angiography.
